A pseudonymous group linked to the $DILDO meme coin has claimed responsibility for a series of disruptive incidents at WNBA games, where sex toys were thrown onto the court. The campaign, which began in late July, appears designed to boost visibility for the token, launched alongside an NFT collection.
Two arrests have been made in connection with the incidents. Delbert Carver, 23, was charged for throwing a sex toy during an Atlanta Dream game, while Kaden Lopez, 18, was arrested in Phoenix for a similar act. The group's tactics rely on shock value, mocking women's sports while drawing attention to their cryptocurrency project.
